Welcome to Masaki Martial Arts – A Legacy of Tradition, Excellence, and Community in Madison, WI
Since 1971, our school has stood as a pillar of martial arts tradition in Madison, Wisconsin. What began as Paik’s Martial Arts has grown, evolved, and thrived over five decades—now proudly continuing our legacy under the name Masaki Martial Arts.
Though our name has changed, our mission remains the same: to empower students through the practice of traditional karate, rooted in timeless values like respect, confidence, and discipline. These principles are at the heart of everything we teach—on and off the mat.
A Tradition of Excellence
With three great locations across Madison and a history that spans generations, Masaki Martial Arts has helped shape thousands of lives through dedicated martial arts instruction. We’re proud to say our students and instructors include national and world champions, but for us, success isn’t measured only by trophies—it’s measured by character.
Our students come from all walks of life, and every journey is unique. Whether you’re a beginner taking your first steps in martial arts or an experienced black belt seeking to grow further, you’ll find support, challenge, and inspiration here.
More Than a Dojo – A Community
At Masaki, we believe karate is for everyone. We are proud to be an inclusive and welcoming community, where every student is seen, respected, and encouraged to be their best. Martial arts is not just about kicks and punches—it’s about building lifelong skills, friendships, and inner strength.
Looking Ahead
As we open this new chapter under the Masaki name, we invite you to join us in honoring the past and forging the future. Whether you’re a longtime member of our martial arts family or just discovering us for the first time—welcome. We’re excited to share our passion with you and help you or your child grow stronger in mind, body, and spirit.
